The Wilmington University men’s basketball team earned their fourth win of the season on Saturday, as the team defeated the Lock Haven University Bald Eagles 68-54.
The leading scorer in the win for the Wildcats was junior guard Randy Rickards, who had 19 points.
Two other Wildcats scored in double digits, which were junior guard Justin Thomas (17), and sophomore guard Caleb Matthews (15).
WilmU had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included fast-break points (8-4), assists (20-9), steals (13-9), and blocks (2-0).
The Wildcats also had the advantage in shooting as well, with the team shooting 48.2%(27-56) and Lock Haven shooting 31.5%(23-73). Wilmington was also the better team at the three-point line in this game as the team shot 27.3% (6-22), and the Bald Eagles shot 0% (0-18).
