The Goldey-Beacom College women’s basketball team earned their ninth win of the season on Saturday with a 70-54 victory over the Felician University Golden Falcons.
Senior forward Alexis Harrison led Goldey-Beacom in scoring in the win with 20 points.
Freshman guard Rory Ciszkowski also scored in double digits in the game with 16 points.
The Lightning had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points in the paint (32-28), bench points (30-8), assists (12-4), and blocks (5-2).
Goldey-Beacom also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 42.6 % (23-54) and Felician shooting 29.7 %(22-74). The Lightning also bested the Golden Falcons from the three-point line, with the team shooting 29.4 %(5-17) and Felician shooting 20.7 % (6-29). Goldey-Beacom was also the better team at the free-throw line in this game, as the team shot 70.4 %(19-27), and the Golden Falcons shot 57.1 %(4-7).
