Four Goldey-Beacom players score in double-digits as the team charged back to win 86-76 over Felician

The Goldey-Beacom College men’s basketball team earned their ninth win of the season on Saturday with an 86-76 victory over the Felician University Golden Falcons.

Junior guard Ayshion Centeno led Goldey-Beacom in scoring in the win with 24 points.

Freshman forward Zayon Marsh recorded a double-double in the game with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Two other Goldey-Beacom players who scored in double digits in the win were junior guards  Damani Thomas (22), and  Mekhi Collins(11).

The Lightning had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included second-chance points (12-7), fast-break points (10-8), bench points (26-25), rebounds (36-26), and assists (15-11).

Goldey-Beacom also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 47.3 % (26-55) and Felician shooting 43.9 %(29-66). The Lightning also bested the Golden Falcons from the three-point line, with the team shooting 54.5 %(12-22) and Felician shooting 33.3 % (9-27). Goldey-Beacom was also the better team at the free-throw line in this game, as the team shot 88.0 %(22-25), and the Golden Falcons shot 81.8 %(9-11).
