The Goldey-Beacom College women’s basketball team earned their third win of the season on Tuesday with an 84-71 victory over the Georgian Court University Lions.
Junior guard Mickey Williams led Goldey-Beacom in scoring in the win with 25 points.
Two other Lightning players who scored in double digits in the win were senior forward Alexis Harrison (11), and freshman guard Rory Ciszkowski (14).
The Lightning had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points off of turnovers (33-19), bench points (28-9), assists (18-17), turnovers (16-20), and blocks (8-3).
Goldey-Beacom also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 47.1% (32-68) and Georgian Court shooting 44.1 % ( 30-68). The Lightning also bested the Lions from the three-point line, with the team shooting 52.0%(13-25) and Georgian Court shooting 27.8% (5-18).
