On the defensive side, fifth-year defensive back Noah Plack and Graduate student linebacker Johnny Buchanan led the team in tackles with eight. They came from Buchanan (.5), sixth-year defensive tackle Artis Hemmingway (.5), senior defensive end Chase McGowan (1), sophomore defensive back Ty Davis (1), fifth-year defensive end Tommy Walsh (.5), and junior defensive lineman Ethan Saunders (.5).
All the pressure they had on Morgan State’s quarterback would land the Blue Hens with three interceptions, which fifth-year linebacker Liam Trainer, junior defensive back Nic Ware, and Graduate student linebacker Drew Nickles each grabbed one.
