The Delaware State University baseball team earned an 8-3 win on Friday over the Norfolk State University Spartans.
Game Stats:
RBIs: Senior second baseman Miguel Rivera led the team in RBIs with four.
Runs: Sophomore right fielder Jordan King, sophomore catcher Robert Trujillo, and junior centerfielder Mike Worthington led the team in runs scored with two.
Hits: Delaware State had ten hits in the win. Rivera led the team in hits with three.
Stolen bases: Senior shortstop Alan Alonso (1), and Worthington (3) each stole a base in the win.
Pitching: On the pitching side, sophomore starting pitcher Peter Carrea went nine innings, gave up seven hits, three runs, two earned runs, one walk, two home runs, five strikeouts, and earned the win.
