The Goldey-Beacom women’s soccer team closed out the regular season on Tuesday with a 2-0 victory over the Wilmington University Wildcats.
The standouts in the game for the Lightning were sophomore defender/midfielder Kira Cohen, sophomore forward Alyssa Ruggeri, sophomore forward/defender Angela Lee, and sophomore goalkeeper Jennifer Mejia.
Cohen had two shots, one shot at the goal, and scored one goal in the win.
Ruggeri had four shots, two shots at the goal, one assist, and scored one goal in the game. Her assist in the game put her at 13 assists for the season, which breaks the program’s single-season assist record.
Lee had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one assist in the win.
Mejia allowed zero goals in 90 minutes and had four saves in the game.
