Lowry scores twice as Goldey-Beacom clinch CACC Tournament berth with a 3-0 win over Felician

The Goldey-Beacom women’s soccer team is heading to the postseason as the team clinched a berth in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament with a 3-0 win over the Felician University Golden Falcons.

The standouts in the game for the Lightning were sophomore forward/defender Angela Lee, sophomore defender/midfielder Alex Lowry, junior forward Hanna Clarke, sophomore goalkeeper Jennifer Mejia, and sophomore goalkeeper Nikki Cashin.


Lee had two shots, two shots at the goal, and scored once in the win.

Lowry had six shots in the game, four shots at the goal, and scored twice in the game.

Clarke had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one assist in the win.

Cashin allowed zero goals in 38 minutes and 45 seconds and had two saves in the game.

Mejia allowed zero goals in 51 minutes and 15 seconds and had six saves in the win.
