Ortiz scores late game-winning goal in Wilmington University’s 2-1 win over Alliance

The Wilmington University women’s soccer team earned their fifth win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Alliance University.

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were sophomore midfielder  Anna Ljuljic, sophomore forward Kailynn Ortiz , sophomore midfielder Julia Yuhase, junior forward Kailey Hyland, and sophomore goalkeeper Mio Nakajima.

Ljuljic had two shots, one shot at the goal, one assist, and scored once in the win.

Ortiz scored the winning goal in the game.

Yuhase had four shots and one assist in the win.

Hyland had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one assist in the game.
