The University of Delaware men’s basketball team earned their sixth win of the season on Sunday as the team defeated the Siena College Saints 75-64.
Redshirt junior guard Jameer Nelson Jr. led the Blue Hens in scoring with 30 points.
Three other Hens players who scored in double-digits were Redshirt sophomore forward Jyáre Davis (19), Graduate Student guard LJ Owens (10), and senior guard Ebby Asamoah (10).
Delaware had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points in the paint (40-34), points off of turnovers (19-8), fast-break points (17-7), assists (10-7), turnovers (9-16), and steals (11-4).
The Hens also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 53.1 % (26-49) and Siena shooting 43.4 %( 23-53).
