Four Wilmington University players score in double-digits in a 66-60 win over Bowie State

The Wilmington University men’s basketball team earned their fifth victory of the season on Saturday as the team defeated the Bowie State University Bulldogs 66-60.

Senior guard Justin Thomas led the Wildcats in scoring in the win with 19 points.

Three other Wildcats who scored in double digits in the win were senior guard Randy Rickards (16), sophomore guard Amiri Stewart (14), and junior guard Caleb Matthews (10).

WilmU had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points off of turnovers (12-4), second-chance points (15-10), points in the paint (36-24), rebounds (35-34), assists (6-4), turnovers (8-12), and blocks (7-2).

Wilmington University also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 45.3% (24-53) and Bowie State shooting 34.5% ( 20-58).
