The Wilmington University men’s basketball team earned their fourth victory of the season on Saturday as the team won 70-68 over the Chestnut Hill College Griffins.
Senior guard Justin Thomas led the Wildcats in scoring in the win with 19 points.
Two other Wildcats who scored in double digits in the win were senior guard Randy Rickards (14), and junior guard Caleb Matthews (10).
WilmU had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included bench points (19-16), and blocks (6-2).
Wilmington University also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 54.0% (27-50) and Chestnut Hill shooting 40.6% ( 26-64). The Wildcats also bested Chestnut Hill from the three-point line, with the team shooting 33.3%(7-21) and the Griffins shooting 16.0% (4-25).
