The University of Delaware men’s basketball team earned their fourth victory of the season on Saturday with a big 69-67 win over the Atlantic 10 conference’s Davidson College Wildcats.
Redshirt sophomore forward Jyáre Davis led the Blue Hens in scoring with 25 points.
Three other Hens players who scored in double-digits were Redshirt junior guard Jameer Nelson Jr. (15), junior guard Gianmarco Arletti (10), and Graduate Student guard LJ Owens (14).
Senior guard Christian Ray was locked on the boards all day as he collected 12 rebounds.
Delaware had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included second-chance points (18-10), fast-break (10-9), bench points (12-10), rebounds (39-32), assists (16-14), and blocks (9-1).
The Hens also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 49.2 % (29-59) and Davidson shooting 42.2 % ( 27-64).
