The Wilmington University baseball team took home a dominating 11-0 victory over Alliance University on Wednesday to move their record to 21-16 on the season.

RBIs: Nick Classie would lead the team in RBIs with three in the win.
Runs: Erik Grady also led the team in runs, with three in the game.
Hits: Classie would lead the team in hits with three in the win.
Stolen bases: Erik Grady would lead the team in stolen bases with one.

Wilmington would get roaring right away in this game, as junior catcher Jack McDonald would hit an RBI single through the right side to give his team a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
In the bottom of the second inning, the Wildcats would continue to widen their lead as they scored five runs on four hits and one error to push the score to 6-0.
Sophomore catcher/first baseman Nick Classie, freshman infielder Tyler Pirrung, and senior utility player Eddie Parry would all push in a run in the inning.
Junior second baseman Erik Grady would come home on a fielding error by the third baseman, and junior pitcher/outfielder Dom Grady scored on a passed ball.
In the bottom of the third inning, Nick Classie would continue his solid day at the plate by hitting a two-run single through the right side of the field to give Wilmington an 8-0 edge.
Junior first baseman JJ Killen would push in another run for the Cats in the fourth inning, as he hit an RBI single up the middle of the field to expand WilmU’s advantage to 9-0.
The Wildcats would score their last two runs of the game in the fifth inning. Graduate student outfielder Nic Hertzfeld pushed in the first run of the inning when he was hit by a pitch.
Then, Freshman outfielder Mikey Rodriguez would get another runner home by hitting a sacrifice fly.
The pitching would hold for the rest of the game to seal an 11-0 victory over Alliance.

Junior pitcher Matt Warrington had everything going right for him in this outing, as he went seven innings, gave up two hits, and struck out 13 batters.
