The Wilmington University men’s soccer team earned its fifth victory of the season on Saturday with a 4-1 win over the Caldwell University Cougars.

Wilmington University takes home a 4-1 win!
Senior midfielder Samuel Macy got the scoring started in this match as he found the goal near the 12-minute mark to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead. Sophomore defender Isaak Simic assisted on the goal.
WilmU held Caldwell to three shots in the first half.
In the second half, Junior forward Yoshiki Fujisawa added to the Cats’ edge when he blasted the ball in for the score at the 60-minute mark to put them up 2-0. Junior midfielder Akira Itadani assisted on the score.
Six minutes later, Freshman forward Tyrell Moore joined in the scoring party and found the net to put WilmU up 3-0. Itadani assisted on the play.
About a minute later, Freshman forward Victor Al-Zouki joined in the fun and knocked the ball in the net to push Wilmington’s lead to 4-0. Senior midfielder Takuma Kiuchi assisted on the goal.
Caldwell didn’t score their first goal until the 76th minute, but the WilmU still won 4-1.

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were Samuel Macy, Isaak Simic, Yoshiki Fujsawa, Akira Itadani, Tyrell Moore, Victor Al-Zouki, Takuma Kiuchi, and sophomore goalie Nick Kormann.
Macy had one shot, one shot at the goal and scored a goal in the game.
Simic had one assist in the match.
Fujsawa had one shot, one shot on goal, and scored a goal in the win.
Itadani had three shots, two shots on goal, and had two assists in the victory.
Moore had two shots, one shot on goal, and scored a goal in the match.
Al-Zouki had one shot, one shot on the goal, and scored one goal in the game.
Kiuchi had one shot, and one assist in the win.
Kormann allowed one goal and had four saves in 90 minutes in the win.
