The Delaware State University football team earned its fourth victory on Saturday with a dominating 34-0 win over Division II Franklin Pierce Ravens.

Delaware State leads by seven at the end of the first quarter.
Both offenses struggled to get going, as Franklin Pierce started with a punt after four plays and, two drives later, booted the ball after six. The Hornets didn’t fare any better, as their opening drive ended when senior quarterback Jayden Sauray threw an interception after moving 62 yards in nine plays.
DSU’s next offensive possession went a lot better, and on the first play Sauray showed off his wheels by rushing 94 yards down the field to the end zone to give his team a 7-0 edge with 6:19 left in the first.
The Hornets led by 13 points at the end of the first half.
In the second quarter, the scoring came from the foot of senior kicker Patrick Fisher-Butler, who booted through a 40-yard and 50-yard field goal to give Delaware State a 13-0 advantage at the end of the first half.
DSU led by 27 points at the end of the third quarter.
The Hornets would get the ball first to open the second half, and they didn’t waste it, as they drove 70 yards in ten plays to end with sophomore running back Kobe Boykin blasting off for 11 yards for the score to put his team up 20-0 with 11:11 left in the third.
Two drives later, Jayden Sauray would keep showing off speed as he dashed off 42 yards on the fourth play to the end zone to give DSU a 27-0 lead with 8:33 left in the third.

Jayden Sauray still had the rockets on his feet rolling in the fourth as he went for the second 94-yard run of the game to seal a 34-0 win over the Ravens.
