The Wilmington University men’s soccer team earned its fourth win of the season on Wednesday with a 2-0 victory over its in-state rival, the Goldey-Beacom College Lightning.

Wilmington University takes home a 2-0 win!
The Wildcats lit up the scoreboard first in this game around the 19-minute mark, when Junior forward Yoshiki Fujisawa found the net to give his team a 1-0 edge. Junior defender Mylan Le Baut and Junior midfielder Sven Henneberg assisted on the goal.
In the second half, Freshman forward Vaughn Clement gave WilmU a little cushion in their lead; at the 58-minute mark, he blasted the ball into the net to seal a 2-0 win for his team. Fujisawa assisted on the goal.
Wilmington outscored Goldey-Beacom 12-6 in the second half.

The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were Yoshiki Fujisawa, Mylan Le Baut, Sven Henneberg, Vaughn Clement, and sophomore goalie Nick Kormann.
Fujisawa had three shots, three shots at the goal, scored one goal, and had one assist in the game.
Le Baut had two shots, one shot on goal, and one assist in the win.
Henneberg had one assist in the match.
Clement had three shots, three shots at the goal, and scored one goal in the victory.
Kormann allowed zero goals and had seven saves in 90 minutes in the win.
