Nine innings were not enough to decide a winner in this game, as this one headed to extra innings.

Chestnut Hill would start the tenth inning by going down in order, and then it was Wilmington’s turn to end this game.

After the first two WilmU batters got out in the bottom of the tenth inning, freshman infielder Tyler Pirrung would get on first base with a single to left field.

The next batter, junior shortstop Matt Warrington would get issued a walk.

Junior pitcher/outfielder Dom Grady would be the next batter, as he would hit a two-out RBI single through the right side to give the Wildcats a 4-3 walk-off win!
