The Delaware State University men’s basketball team earned their second win of the season on Monday with a 88-85 overtime victory over the South Carolina State University Bulldogs
Sophomore guard Khyrie Staten led the team in scoring in the win with 19 points.
Three other DSU players who scored in double-digits were senior forward Brandon Stone (18), junior guard Martaz Robinson (17), and freshman guard Jevin Muniz (16).
Delaware State had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points in the paint (42-31), points off of turnovers (20-17), turnovers (15-21), and steals (7-6).
The Hornets also had the advantage in shooting, with the team shooting 53.7 % (29-54) and South Carolina State shooting 46.8 % (29-62).
