The Wilmington University baseball team dominated the Post University Eagles 12-0 on Friday to advance to the CACC Championship Final. The Wildcats will play Post in the CACC Championship on Saturday at noon ET.
Game stats:
RBIs: Sophomore catcher Jack McDonald led the team in RBIs in the win with five.
Runs: Sophomore first baseman JJ Killen led the team in runs scored with four.
Hits: Wilmington had a total of nine hits in the game. McDonald, JJ Killen, and sophomore second baseman Erik Grady led the team in hits in the win with two.
Stolen bases: McDonald (2), Grady (4), and Killen (1) each stole a base in the game.
Pitching: On the pitching side, redshirt junior pitcher Kyle Maxwell went nine innings, gave up four hits, one walk, eight strikeouts, and earned the win.
