The Goldey-Beacom College women’s basketball team won their third game of the season on Wednesday as the team defeated the Georgian Court University Lions 90-78.
The leading scorer for the Lightning in the win was sophomore guard Briana Seltzer, who had 26 points.
Two other Goldey-Beacom players scored in double digits, which were junior forward Alexis Harrison (22), and sophomore guard Mickey Williams (14).
The Lightning had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points in the paint (46-32), points off turnovers (28-13), bench points (27-5), turnovers (14-20), and steals (11-5).
Goldey-Beacom also had the advantage of shooting as well, with the team shooting 47.2 %( 34-72) and Georgian Court shooting 39.7 %(29-73).
