The Wilmington University women’s soccer team opened up the season on Friday with a 2-0 win against the Daemen College Wildcats.
The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were midfielder Kasie Lambert, midfielder Lauren Hoelke, forward Rockesha Dayes, and goalkeeper Emily Camp.
Lambert had one shot, one shot at the goal, and scored one goal.
Lauren Hoelke had eight shots, five shots at the goal, and scored one goal.
Dayes had one assist.
Camp had five shots at the goal, allowed zero goals in 90 minutes of play, and had five saves.
