The Goldey-Beacom volleyball team opened the season with a 3-0 loss to West Chester on Friday.

The Lightning lost the first set 25-13, lost the second set 25-17, and lost the third set 25-21.

In their second game on Friday, the Lightning lost to Franklin Pierce by a score of 3-2.

Goldey-Beacom lost the first set 25-17, won the second set 25-20, lost the third set 26-24, won the fourth set 25-22, and lost the fifth set 15-7.

In the first game on Saturday, Goldey-Beacom fell 3-1 to Millersville University.
