Future College Lacrosse players this is a day for you, to learn what it takes to be great in the college level.
The prospect day for the Wilmington University’s Women Lacrosse will be for girls in the grades of 8-12. The event is on February 11th at the WU Athletics Complex. The Prospect Day will be held 2:30-4:30pm on that day.
The focus for the Women’s prospect day will be on fundamentals with emphasis on collegiate level skills to help prepare girls for their upcoming high school seasons, according to the press release.
Then first year head coach Kevin Day will teach the prospects advanced offensive skills including fundamentals and shooting. The coach will also teach the prospects proper defensive techniques including 1v1 defense, body positioning, and footwork. Also, in the prospect day, the coach will also teach about teamwork and communication.
Prospects are required to bring their own gear which includes stick, goggles, mouth guards, both cleats and gym shoes. Prospects will receive a WilmU reversible pinny for taking part in the Prospect Day.

For the men’s prospect day, the clinic will be for boys who are graduating 2018-2020. The event is on February 18th at the WU Athletics Complex. The Prospect Day will be held 8:00 to 12:00 p.m on that day.
For the men’s skill Instruction will run first with a Wilmington University Information Session to follow. The day will end with games and competition, according to the press release.
Prospects are required to bring their own lunch.
