Wilmington University Baseball Schedule

After finishing in second place ( 30-21 overall & 17-5 in CACC) in the CACC just missing the NCAA Division II East Regional Tournament, Wilmington University look to come back even stronger this year.

The team welcomes back  pitcher Sean Deely who was just named to the 2018 NCBWA Preseason All-East Region First Team.

Deely had a 7-1 record in 12 games, 72.2 innings, 1.61 ERA and 68 strikeouts last season.

First baseman Kendall Small is also back for Wilmington who just earned 2018 NCBWA Preseason All-East Region Second Team.

Small had a .287 batting average, 43 RBI, four home runs, 32 Runs and 8 stolen bases in 48 games last season.

Also back for the Wildcats is infielder/pitcher Dan Hyatt who just earned 2018 NCBWA Preseason All-East Region Second Team..

Last season, Hyatt had a .288 batting average, 20 RBI, 16 Runs and four stolen bases in 46 games.

Hyatt also had a 2-1 record in 14 appearances, 16.1 innings pitched, 3.86 ERA and 26 strikeouts last season.

Wildcats start their 2018 season on the road in Myrtle Beach against New Haven in the Northeast Challenge on February 23rd.

Wilmington’s home opener is March 14th against Post and that opens up the team’s Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference play.

The team ends the season on the road at Millersville.
