University of Delaware and Goldey- Beacom basketball players each earned weekly honors from their conferences for their play for the week.

CAA Rookie Of The Week:
Ryan Allen:
Allen was named CAA Rookie of the week for his play against Cornell and UNCW last week.
During the two wins last week against Cornell and UNCW, Allen averaged 19 points and led the Hens in scoring in both games.
In the Cornell game, Allen had 24 points which was most points scored by a Blue Hen this season and a season high for the freshman guard. Allen also hit six three pointers in the 97-96 win over Cornell last week.
In the UNCW win, Allen had 14 points, four rebounds, one assist and one steal in the game.
Allen has had the shooting touch lately by scoring in double figures in eight of the last nine games. The Blue Hen guard is fifth in the CAA and leads the Blue Hens with making down 2.8 three-pointers per game. Allen is also seventh in the CAA with 33.9 minutes played per game, ninth with a 41.3 three-point percentage, and 16th with 13.5 points per game.
This is Allen’s second Rookie of the week honor (12/4/17) and the third time this season a Blue Hen has won Rookie of the week. Hens Kevin Anderson also has won Rookie of the week honors this season ( 12/18/17 & 12/126/17).
The Hens become the first CAA team to have earned 10 CAA Rookie of the Week honors in the last 20 weeks.

CACC Weekly Honor Roll
Britani Bryson
Bryson was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for her play against Jefferson and Georgian Court last week.
During the two games, Bryson averaged 17 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
In the loss against Jefferson, Bryson had 20 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks in the loss.
In the win against Georgian Court, Bryson had 14 points and five rebounds in the overtime game.
Bryson ranks high in the CACC in many categories this season including seventh in the league with 14.5 points per game, second with 75 baskets, fifth with a .487 shooting percentage and sixth with 8.4 rebounds per contest.
The senior forward is seventh in team history with 1,286 points, third with 112 blocks, fourth with 905 rebounds, fifth with 520 field goals and ninth with 245 free throws.
Bryson is very close to becoming the first women’s player in Goldey-Beacom history to have 1,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 100 blocks.
This is Bryson’s third time this season named to CACC’s honor roll.

Corey Taite
Taite was named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll for his play against Jefferson and Georgian Court last week.
During the two games, Taite averaged 21 points, 4.5 rebounds, two assists, one steal and six 3 three pointers.
In the loss vs Jefferson, Taite had 23 points, six rebounds and three assists.
In the win vs Georgian Court, Taite had 19 points, three rebounds and two steals.
Taite ranks high in the CACC in many categories this season including fourth in the league with 18.5 points per game, first with 73 free throws, seventh with 71 field goals and ninth with 34.8 minutes per contest.
Taite ranks high in many Goldey-Beacom categories also including 12th in team history with 895 points, fifth with 233 free throws, sixth with 128 steals, seventh with 208 assists and ninth with 104 three-pointers.
This is Taite’s fourth time this season named to CACC’s honor roll.
