The final scoring play of the inning came when junior outfielder Isabella Eleazar hit a two-out RBI single to the right side of the field to give her team a 7-0 advantage.
Fast forward to the fourth inning, where Eleazar would still have a hot bat, as she hit an RBI double to right center field to push WilmU’s lead to 8-0.
The Wildcats’ pitching would do the rest to seal an 8-0 victory over Chestnut Hill.
