Coppola & Ruggieri each score two goals in Goldey-Beacom’s 4-0 win over Bloomfield

The Goldey-Beacom College women’s soccer team won their ninth game of the season on Saturday as they took home a 4-0 win over Bloomfield College. The win also earns the program their seventh straight berth into the CACC Tournament.

The standouts in the game for Goldey-Beacom were defender Kelly Mejia, forward Lexi Coppola, midfielder Kiera Young, forward Alyssa Ruggieri, defender/forward Angela Lee, goalkeeper Noel Talbot, goalkeeper Jennifer Mejia, and goalkeeper Nikki Cashin.

Mejia had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one assist.

Coppola had three shots, three shots at the goal, and two goals.

Young had one assist.

Ruggieri had two shots, two shots at the goals, and two goals.

Lee had two assists.

Talbot allowed zero goals in 75 minutes and had one save.

Mejia allowed zero goals in 11:03 minutes.

Cashin allowed zero goals in 3:52 minutes.
