Get the brooms out because the University of Delaware women’s basketball team swept the two-game series over the Northeastern University Howlin Huskies on Tuesday with a 68-61 win.

The leading scorer in the win for the Blue Hens was junior guard/forward Jasmine Dickey, who had 19 points.
For the second day in a row, Redshirt junior forward Ty Battle would record a double-double in the Blue Hens win with 12 points and 11 rebounds. This is Battle’s fifth double-double of the season.
Paris McBride also scored in double-digits in the win as she had 16 points.
Delaware had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points off turnovers (20-13), second-chance points (11-7), rebounds (37-31), turnovers (16-18), blocks (4-2) and steals (6-4).
The Hens also bested the Huskies at the three-point line as the team shot 37.5 %(6-16) and the Northeastern shot 25.0 %(6-24).
