Former Goldey-Beacom men’s basketball player Elijah Tillman is headed to Spain after he signed a contract with the Basquet Sitges of the EBA League, according to Goldey-Beacom’s site.
The former Lightning center averaged 10.8 points per game, 7.78 rebounds per game, 1.34 blocks per game, and 22.6 minutes per game in 32 career games.
Tillman is in the school record books at Goldey-Beacom as the big man ended his career second in career shooting percentage ( .584) and eighth in blocks ( 43).
One of Tillman’s greatest plays at Goldey-Beacom garnered national attention when the big man hit a 65-foot game-winning shot in overtime to give his team a 71-68 win on November 22, 2016, at the University of the Sciences.
