Goldey-Beacom Women’s Basketball star Britani Bryson added another award to her mantle with being named the Peninsula Sports Club 2018 College Out-of-State Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year on Monday.
The Hampton, Virginia native who is easily one of the greatest women players to step on the court at Goldey-Beacom and was a player who had skills on the offensive and defensive side. Also, Bryson also brought out the best in her teammates with her leadership.
The senior forward was ranked nationally in many categories this year including 34th in rebounds per game with 9.8, 41st with total rebounds with 275 and 61st in blocked shots with 1.68.
Bryson was the first Goldey-Beacom women’s basketball player to to reach 1,000 career points, 1,000 career rebounds and 100 blocks.
Bryson ended her career at Goldey Beacom with 45 ( 15 last season) career double-doubles.
The Goldey-Beacom forward ranks in the top of multiple school records which includes third in career points with 1482, second in career rebounds with 1071, second in career field goals with 604 and second in field goal percentage with .471.
