Fun Fact:   This was the first time GBC had hosted a conference tournament game in consecutive years.

Head Coach Dan Frick on the Jefferson CACC Tournament Win:Beating Jefferson in the CACC quarterfinal really was rewarding because we didn’t show well against them in the regular season. I remembered telling the team after the game that we would see them again. It’s great for our five seniors to win a conference tournament game and for the young players to gain the experience of playing in a conference semifinal.”

End of Season Quotes:

Head Coach Dan Frick On the Success of The Season & Development of the Players:

“After a great 2016 campaign, we knew we weren’t going to be able to sneak up on anyone. It was impressive to watch the young players adapt to the speed of Division II soccer right away.  It also was great to see the older players continue the winning culture we had developed over the previous fall. Bringing back assistant coaches Jane Grimley and Becca Cordo, who were players on the 2016 team, made a significant difference in our ability to continue a path towards success.”

Head Coach Dan Frick On Watching GBC’s Men’s Soccer Team Go To the NCAA Tournament and how it inspires the Women’s team:

“It was great to watch the men advance through the CACC Tournament and so many of the girls are close with the guys. We’re a family and watching their success has inspired us to be better. We can’t wait for the 2018 season to begin!”
