It was announced on Monday, Delaware Blue Hens Freshman basketball player Ryan Daly earned his second straight CAA Rookie of the week honors and third overall on the season.
The Ardmore, Pa native averaged 18.7 points per game, 4.7 rebounds, 55.0% from the field and had 8 assists in the Blue Hens three games last week.
Daly scored 20 points or over three times last week and had a career-high 28 points vs. UNCW on Saturday which he also led the team in rebounds with 6. The 28 point game was fourth most by a freshman in Blue Hens history.
The freshman guard has been putting up the points lately by reaching double digits in last eight out nine games. Daly leads the Blue Hens with 13.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game on the season. The Blue Hen guard also ranks seventh in the CAA in rebounding and is the 12th best scorer in the conference.
