Game Leaders:
RBIs: Hannah Davis would lead the team in RBIs, with three in the win.
Runs: Alex Lowry and Chasedy Johnson also led the team in runs, with two in the game.

Game Two Recap:
In the second matchup, Chestnut would be the first team on the board as they pushed a run in the top of the first inning.
Goldey-Beacom would answer back in the bottom of the first by Nicole Makin hitting an RBI single to center field to tie the score at one.
The Lightning would heat up in the second inning, as the team scored four runs on four hits and one error.
Junior outfielder Hannah Davis would get the scoring action started as she slapped a two-run single through the right side of the field to give the Lightning a 3-1 edge in the bottom of the second inning.
Alex Lowry would be the next batter up, as she would hit an RBI double to right center to extend her team’s lead to 4-1.
Nicole Makin would come in clutch with her bat again, as she knocked in an RBI single to center field to give Goldey a 5-1 advantage in the second inning.
Two innings later, The Lightning would continue to cushion their lead as the team scored two runs on two hits and two errors.
The first run of the bottom of the fourth inning came when Hannah Davis hit a sacrifice fly to push in a score to give the team a 6-1 edge. On that same play, freshman outfielder Chasedy Johnson would score on a throwing error from the Griffins’ right fielder to expand GBC’s advantage to 7-1.
Chestnut Hill would add two more runs in the top of the fifth inning, but the Lightning’s pitching would hold the rest of the way to seal a 7-3 win.
Pitching recap:
Senior pitcher Chrissy Jordan would go 5.1 innings, gave up five hits, three runs, one earned run, three walks, three strikeouts, and earned the win.
Morgan McLane would relieve Jordan, as she went 1.2 innings, gave up one hit, had one strikeout, and earned the save.
