The Wilmington University men’s soccer team won their third straight game on Saturday with a 5-2 victory over the Dominican (N.Y) University Chargers.
The standouts in the game for the Wildcats were sophomore forward Pol Romero, freshman Malthe Hannesbo, junior midfielder Marius Skattum Dahl, sophomore defender Richard Thompson, sophomore defender Malcom Young, sophomore midfielder Deshawn Bernard, senior goalkeeper Yvan Moundou, and sophomore goalkeeper Bas Markus.
Romero had three shots, two shots at the goal, and two goals in the win.
Hannesbo had five shots, three shots at the goal, and two goals in the game.
Skattum Dahl had three shots and two assists in the win.
Thompson had one shot and one assist in the game.
Young had one shot, one shot at the goal, and one assist in the win.
Bernard had one assist in the game.
Moundou allowed two goals in 45 minutes and had two saves in the game.
Markus allowed zero goals in 45 minutes in the win.
