Musey and Lindsey Jr. homer in Goldey-Beacom’s 10-6 win over Jefferson

The Goldey-Beacom baseball team earned a 10-6 victory over the Jefferson University Rams on Tuesday.

Game stats:

RBIs: Sophomore infielder Garrett Musey led the team in RBIs with three.

Runs: Junior outfielder Marlon Lindsey Jr., and sophomore outfielder Demetrius Johnson led the team in runs scored with two.

Hits: Goldey-Beacom had a total of nine hits in the game. Junior infielder Mason Maxwell, and junior right fielder Connor Megginson led the team in hits in the win with three.

Home runs: Lindsey Jr. and Musey each hit a home run in the game.

Stolen bases: Junior catcher Johnny Kampes, and sophomore third baseman Kyle Walker each stole a base in the win.

Pitching: On the pitching side, junior starting pitcher Anthony Dimartino went four innings, and gave up six hits, five runs, five earned runs, five strikeouts, and two walks.

Sophomore pitcher Tommy Federici relieved Dimartino, as he went three innings, gave up one hit, five strikeouts, and earned the win.

Freshman Wyatt Atkinson came in for Federici, as he went one inning, gave up one hit, one run, one earned run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Sophomore Justin Jump closed out the game, as he went one inning, and gave up one hit.
