All tied after one-quarter of play
In the opening minutes of this game, the College of Charleston would jump out to an early 6-1 lead with 8:04 left in the first quarter. Seconds later, Delaware would go on a 10-2 run to take an 11-8 lead with 5:30 left in the first period. Jasmine Dickey was the leader of this run as she scored seven of the ten points.
During this run, the Blue Hens swiped the ball away from the Cougars three times as Dickey, Ty Battle, and Tyi Skinner each had a steal.
Starting at the 4:52 minute mark, Charleston would outscore the University of Delaware 11-8 to end the first quarter with a tied score of 19.

The second quarter started with the Cougars roaring out to a 22-9 run, which gave the team a 41-28 lead with 2:26 left in the first half.
At 54 second mark, Delaware would go on to outscore the College of Charleston 4-2 to cut the lead to 43-32 at halftime.
Delaware down by one point after three-quarters of play
Charleston may have owned the second quarter, but the University of Delaware was the team in control in the third quarter. The Blue Hens opened the second half going on a 16-5 run, which would tie the score at 48 with 3:07 left in the third quarter. The duo of Ty Battle and Tyi Skinner would score 12 of the 16 points on the run.
Rebounding was also a factor on the run, as the team collected ten rebounds.
Starting at the 2:22 minute mark, the Cougars would outscore the Blue Hens 7-6 to take a 55-54 lead at the end of the third quarter.
All tied at 76 after four quarters of play
The first three minutes of the fourth quarter gave us a preview of what the rest of the period would look like, as the two teams exchanged the lead three times and tied once. The last bucket during those three minutes came from the Cougars Grace Abercrombie, who made a layup to put her team up four points (61-57) with 7:09 left in the game.
Starting at the 5:04 minute mark, the Hens would go on a 9-3 run to take a 66-64 lead with 3:22 left in the game. The duo of Ty Battle and Lizzie Oleary would score seven of the nine points on the run.
The hard-fought game would continue on as starting at the three-minute mark, the two teams would exchange the lead seven times and tie it three times. The last score during that time came when Blue Hens Ty Battle made a layup with six seconds left to tie the game at 76, which would push the game into overtime.
Blue Hens win 86-84!
The overtime period started with Delaware outscoring the Cougars 4-1 to take an 80-77 lead with 3:15 left in the game. Jasmine Dickey would score three of the four points on the run.
Almost a minute later, Charleston would drain a three-point shot to tie the game at 80 with 2:24 left in the game.
Starting at the 2:14 minute mark, the University of Delaware would outscore the College of Charleston 6-4 to seal a wild 86-84 overtime win! Four of the six points came from the free-throw line.
