The Goldey-Beacom College baseball team has now won seven straight games, with the team defeating the Wilmington University Wildcats 4-1 on Wednesday.

The RBIs in the game came from sophomore catcher Marshall Awtry (2), and junior center fielder Trent Hearn (2).
Four players had runs in the win, which were Awtry (1), Hearn (1), sophomore shortstop Mason Maxwell (1), and freshman right fielder Kyle Walker (1).
The Goldey-Beacom hitters gained seven hits in the win, which were Hearn (2), Walker (2), Awtry (1), Maxwell (1), and sophomore second baseman Connor Megginson (1).
Awtry and Hearn each hit a home run in the win.
On the pitching side, junior pitcher Jake Heskett pitched seven innings, gave up seven hits, one run, one earned run, three walks, two strikeouts, hit two batters, and earned the win.
Junior pitcher Kevin Roll came in for Heskett as he went one inning, gave up one hit, one walk, and one strikeout.
Senior pitcher Jake Kinsell closed out the game as he went one inning, two walks, two strikeouts, and earned the save.
