Krinsky earns first career shutout in Blue Hens 2-0 win over George Mason

The University of Delaware women’s soccer team opened their season up on Thursday with a 2-0 win over the George Mason University Patriots.

The standouts in the game for the Blue Hens were redshirt junior midfielder Gabby Johnson, junior forward Kate Henesey, and junior goalkeeper Lauren Krinsky.

Johnson had had two shots, one shot at the goal and one goal in the win.

Henesey had had one shot, one shot at the goal and one goal in the win.

Krinsky allowed zero goals and had five saves in 90 minutes of play. The goalkeeper earned her first career shutout in the 2-0 win.
