The University of Delaware women’s basketball team earned their 13th win of the season on Saturday as the team pulled out a 59-47 win over Northeastern University Howlin Huskies.

The leading scorer in the game for the Blue Hens was junior guard/forward Jasmine Dickey, who had 22 points.
Redshirt junior forward Ty Battle also scored in double-digits in the win as she had 13 points.
Delaware had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points off turnovers (19-16), second-chance points (22-7), fast-break points (13-8), rebounds (44-32), turnovers (22-27), blocks (3-0) and steals (18-8).
The Blue Hens went to the free-throw line often in this win, and the team made those trips count by shooting 85.7% (24-28). Northeastern shot 53.3% (8-15) at the free-throw line in the game.
