The University of Delaware women’s basketball team earned their eighth victory of the season on Saturday with a 76-55 win over the Hofstra University Pride. Delaware is 5-0 against their fellow Colonial Athletic Association opponents this season.

The leading scorer in the win for the Blue Hens was junior guard/forward Jasmine Dickey, who had a career-high 37 points. Dickey also recorded her third double-double of the season as she collected ten rebounds with her 37 points.
Senior forward Lizzie Oleary also scored in double-digits in the win as she had 14 points.
Redshirt junior forward Ty Battle was one point shy of recording a double-double in the game as she had nine points and ten rebounds.
Delaware had the advantage in multiple categories in the game, which included points in the paint (30-26), points off of turnovers (24-9), second-chance points (22-8), fast-break points (8-6), rebounds (47-37), assists (14-13), turnovers (16-23), blocks ( 5-0) and steals (11-9).
The Hens bested the Pride from the foul line as well, with the team shooting 76.0 %(19-25) and Hofstra shooting 75.0 %(15-20).
