Delaware Sports Blitz will be showcasing student-athletes performances from this past season each week.
Each week we will look at different colleges from the state of Delaware and showcase their athlete’s performance in the chosen sport of the week.
This week is all about Wesley’s softball team which will continue with junior pitcher Dori Loukopoulos.
Loukopoulos had a 1.01 ERA, a 6-2 record, two complete games, 27 hits, 14 runs, five earned runs, 12 walks, and 30 strikeouts in nine appearances. The junior pitcher led the team in wins ( co-leader) and ERA in the 2020 season.
The Chambersburg, Pennsylvania was among the best in the Atlantic East Conference in ERA as Loukopoulos placed third with 1.01. The Wesley pitcher was also second in opposing batting average, third in innings pitched, fourth in batters struck out, and first in wins ( co-leader) in the conference.

Wesley Opens Season With 9-0 Win Vs Keystone
The Wolverines scored a combined eight runs in the first and second innings of this game which led to a 9-0 opening-day win over Keystone.
Loukopoulos pitched four innings, one hit, two walks, and five strikeouts, and earned the win. On the offensive side, Loukopoulos scored two runs in the game.
Wesley Takes A Dominating 9-0 Win Over Washington College
The Wolverines would continue their winning ways on the road as the team shut down Washington College’s hitting to win 9-0.
Loukopoulos pitched five innings, one hit, two walks, and five strikeouts and earned the win.
Wesley Wins the Fifth Game Of The Season With an 8-0 Win Over Muhlenberg
On March 2nd, The Wolverines would win their second straight game with a score of 8-0 but this time it would come against Muhlenberg.
Loukopoulos pitched five innings, one hit, three walks, and four strikeouts, and earned the win. On the offensive side, Loukopoulos scored one run, one hit, one double, two RBIs, and struck out in the game.
Wesley Sweeps St. Elizabeth
In the second game of the series with St. Elizabeth, the Wolverines would score six runs in the first and seven in the third inning to take a 13-0 win.
Loukopoulos pitched three innings, three hits, and two strikeouts, and earned the win.
Wesley’s Winning Streak Hits Six
The pitching held the East Mennonite offense to two hits in the entire game and the Wolverines hitters answered by scoring nine runs in the 9-0 win.
Loukopoulos pitched four innings, with three strikeouts, and earned the win.
Winning Streak Extends To Seven With 3-1 Win Vs Wilkes
Wesley would score two runs in the fourth and one in the fifth inning to take a 3-1 win over Wilkes on March 6th.
Loukopoulos pitched seven innings, four hits, one run, one earned run, three walks, and seven strikeouts, and earned the win.
