DSU To Play North Carolina A&T On ESPN’s MEAC “Game Of The Week”

The Delaware State football team will be featured this season on the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference / ESPN “Game-of-the-Week” which will be the first time in four years, the team has made an appearance in the event.

DSU will play the  North Carolina A&T Aggies  in week five of the season for  the “Game of the Week” match up, who are the reigning champions of  the MEAC and the HBCU ( Celebration Bowl champion).

The game will kick off at at 7:30 p.m. in Greensboro, North Carolina on Thursday, September 26th and will be broadcast live on ESPN3.

The last time the Hornets played a MEAC/ESPN “Game of the Week” was in 2015 and the team squared off against the Aggies.

This will also be the first time since 2012, the Hornets will play a Thursday night MEAC “Game Of the Week”  match up.

The Hornets and Aggies match up is part of a ten game  MEAC / ESPN football package which will have nine regular season games on various ESPN broadcast stations and one post season game on ABC.

DSU opens the season at University of Delaware on August 29th.
