The Wesley College Softball team split their doubleheader series against Immaculata University as the team lost the first game 2-1 and won the second game 4-1 on Thursday at DuPont Field.
We are going to focus on Game two where the Wolverines won 4-1 against Immaculata University.

As runs batted in ( RBIs) goes, there were three Wesley hitters who hit RBIs and they were junior first baseman Brandi Dalious (2), sophomore right fielder Miranda Kinney (1) and sophomore pinch hitter Amanda Curry (1).
Three Wolverines players had runs in the win and they were senior shortstop Ashley Royer (1), Dalious (2) and sophomore pitcher Dori Loukopoulos (1).
Four Wesley hitters gained a hit in the win and they were Royer (2), Dalious (2), Kinney (1) and Loukopoulos (1).
Junior second baseman Brooke Retkowski recorded a stolen base in the Wolverines win.
Brandi Dalious hit a home run in the 4-1 win.
On the pitching side, starter sophomore pitcher Dori Loukopoulos had a solid game as she went 6.2 innings, three hits,one run, one earned run, five walks,four strikeouts and earned the win (seventh win of the season).
Wesley & Immaculata Each Score In the First Inning
The first team to score in the game was Immaculata as Keani Hindle hit a double to center field which scored Ashley Rey to give their team a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning.
Wesley would respond back in the bottom of the first inning, as Miranda Kinney hit a double to right center field which scored Brandi Dalious to tie the game up at one run each.
Wesley Would Add Three More Runs To Their Lead In Third & Fourth Innings
The Wolverines would continue to add to their lead in the third inning as Brandi Dalious would hit a two run home run to center field which scored Ashley Royer and herself to give their team a 3-1 lead.
In the fourth inning,Amanda Curry would fly out to center field for a sacrifice fly which allowed Dori Loukopoulos to score to expand Wesley’s lead to 4-1.
Wesley’s starting pitcher Dori Loukopoulos was pretty much dealing after the first inning where she gave up a run as she quieted the Immaculata hitters for the next six innings.
Loukopoulos set down the Immaculata lineup in order for the last inning to seal the 4-1 win.
Loukopoulos went 6.2 innings, three hits,one run, one earned run, five walks,four strikeouts and earned the win.
Wesley heads to Neumann for their last series of the season on April 20th which the first game starts at 1:00 PM ET.
