The University of Delaware Women’s Basketball program announced their 2018-2019 Non-conference schedule on Wednesday which will have the Blue Hens open their season at Northern Iowa on November 9th. The Northern Iowa game will kick off the preseason Women’s National Invitation Tournament for the Hens.
Preseason WNIT play continues November 11th through the 17th.
Then the Hens stay on the road and go against Delaware State on November 20th.
The Blue Hens road heavy schedule continues as the team will face Bradley on November 23rd which will be a part of the FAU Tournament.
On November 24th, Hens will either face FAU or Lafayette to conclude the tournament.
Blue Hens continue to be road warriors as the team will head to Boston to face Boston University on December 2nd.
After a month of being on the road, Blue Hens finally come home to Bob Carpenter Center where the team will host Central Florida on December 9th.
Blue Hens close non-conference play with Gardner Webb ( December 18th), Maryland ( December 20th) and St.Joseph’s ( December 28th) all coming to the Bob Carpenter Center.
Hens will start Colonial Athletic Association conference play on January 4th when they host James Madison at the Bob Carpenter Center.
