The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference announced Tuesday that Goldey-Beacom’s senior forward Britani Bryson was named to the All-CACC second team for the 2017-2018 season.

This is not the first time Bryson was named to All-CACC team, in 2017 she was named to the All- CACC second team and in 2016 she was named to the All-CACC third team.

Bryson has been a leader on and off the court for Goldey- Beacom and was one the best players the school ever had for women’s basketball.

The senior forward was ranked nationally in many categories this year including 34th in rebounds per game with 9.8, 41st with total rebounds with 275 and 61st in blocked shots with 1.68.

In the conference, Bryson was ranked 11th in points per game with 13.8, 10th in total points with 383, third in rebounds per game with 9.8, first in total rebounds with 275 and second in total blocks with 47.

Bryson was one of two players ( Zhane Robinson, Bloomfield) who was averaging  13.8 points and 9.8 rebounds in the league.

The Hampton, Va native also made her mark in school history which includes third in career points with 1482, second in career rebounds with 1071, second in career field goals with 604 and second in field goal percentage with .471.

Bryson was the first Goldey-Beacom women’s basketball player to to reach 1,000 career points, 1,000 career rebounds and 100 blocks.

The dominant forward ended her career with 45 career double-doubles.
