It was announced Monday by the Colonial Athletic Association that they have named University of Delaware’s Nicole Enabosi CAA Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
It really should be no surprise to anyone that Enabosi got this honor this week because she has recently been on a tear with five straight double-doubles.
Enabosi started the week with 15 points and 12 rebounds over the Cougars and she averaged 19.0 points and 12.5 rebounds in wins vs Northeastern and the College of Charleston.
The Gaithersburg, MD native has started all 18 games for the Blue Hens and has averaged 14 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.9 steals and a 45.3 shooting percentage this season.
Enabosi is only the second Blue Hen to have five straight double-doubles in a season , the first was Christina Rible in the 2000-2001 season.
