The Goldey-Beacom women’s soccer team earned their fifth victory of the season on Saturday with a 1-0 win over the D’Youville University Saints.

Goldey-Beacom takes home a 1-0 victory!

In the first 45 minutes of the game, the scoreboard remained silent. The two teams took 11 combined shots for the net, but the ball never made it in for a score.

The Lightning would strike in the 67th minute to get on the scoreboard, as Senior forward Sia Diakos would find the net to seal a 1-0 victory over the Saints. Freshman forward Ryley Dixon assisted on Diakos’s goal.
