RBIs: Chrissy Jordan and Carly Setting would lead the team in RBIs, with one in the win.

Runs: Hannah Davis, Alex Lowry, and Morgan Scott also led the team in runs, with one in the game.

Hits: Lowry and Gabriella Monzo would lead the team in hits with two in the win.

Stolen bases: Lowry and Davis would each steal a base in the win.

Game Two Recap:

In the second matchup, Goldey-Beacom would be the first team to put a run on the scoreboard, as junior outfielder Hannah Davis would get an RBI sacrifice fly to give the team a 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning.

Fast forward to the top of the fourth inning, where Morgan Scott would push in a run for the Lightning, as the team’s advantage would expand to 2-0.

In the top of the fifth inning, Alex Lowry would get a triple, and then she would go home after Alliance’s center fielder had an error to give Goldey a 3-0 lead.

AU would answer back in the fifth inning to score two runs, but GBC would hold on to win 3-2.

Pitching recap:

Freshman pitcher Alesia Doctor would pitch four innings, giving up four hits, two walks, striking out four batters, and earning the win.

 Gwen Safin would close the game out, as she went three innings, two runs, one earned run, struck two batters out, and earned the save.
