Game Two Leaders:
RBIs: Gabriella Saucedo would lead the team in RBIs, with two in the win.Runs: Taylor Gillis also led the team in runs, with three in the game.

Game two Recap:
In the second matchup, Chestnut Hill would get on the board first, with the team pushing in one run in the top of the first inning.
Wilmington would answer back in the bottom of the first by scoring four runs on six hits and one error,
The first run of the inning came when Isabella Eleazar hit an RBI sac bunt to tie the game at one. Another run would score on that play thanks to the throwing error by the Griffins pitcher.
Two batters later, Haley Downin would come up to the plate and hit an RBI bunt double through the right side of the field to give her team a 3-1 lead.
On the next play, sophomore catcher/third baseman Emma Zimmerman would hit an RBI single to the shortstop to push WilmU’s advantage to 4-1.
The bottom of the second inning would see sophomore outfielder Gabriella Saucedo would get an RBI sac bunt to expand the Wildcats’ edge to 5-1.
In the third inning, junior first baseman Arianna Millan would continue Wilmington scoring ways as she hit an RBI sacrifice fly to extend her team’s lead to 6-1. Another run was scored on the play thanks to an error by Chestnut Hill’s right fielder to make the score 7-1.
Fast forward to the sixth inning, where Gillis and Saucedo would both knock in runs to seal a 9-1 victory over the Griffins.
Pitching recap:
Junior pitcher Renamarie Rocha had a solid outing, as she went six innings, gave up four hits, one run, one earned run, one walk, five strikeouts, and earned the win.
